On the 28th November till 2nd December all the coordinating teams from Poland, Spain and Great Britain had a chance to meet for the second time. This time it was Edinburgh. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the changes in the project in the light of reduced number of participants.
The teachers from Spain and Poland visited Forrester High School, got to know the British Education System and observed some lessons.
During the meeting in a conference hall, we agreed to the dates of our next mobilities:

During further discussions the Polish coordinator introduced the rest of the participants with innovative possibilities of using the website www.thebigchallengeclub.com to communicate between students and teachers, was also discussed the calculation of the project budget.
Taking into consideration the reduction in the number of partners in the project, were also reduced the tasks.
- project team from Great Britain (the main coordinator of the project) will be responsible for preparing a brief presentation of the culture and traditions of Great Britain and the creation of a cookbook containing traditional recipes of the partner countries in both paper and electronic format.
During the second student mobility coordinator agreed to conduct workshops during which students and teachers will use the recipes from the cookbook to create a ready-made dishes. The design team from Great Britain will also supply the materials to the international calendar.
- project team Poland will be responsible for preparing a brief presentation of Polish culture and traditions, preparing recipes for the cookbook and will also organize dancing and singing workshops during the first mobility of students as well as traditional backyard games workshops.
The design team from Poland will also prepare all the materials necessary to create the international calendar and prepare a finished DVD movie summarizing the workshops.
- project team from Spain will be responsible for preparing a brief presentation of Spanish culture and traditions, the creation of an international calendar for 2014 in both paper and electronic versions, preparing recipes for the cookbook and the conduct the project website.
All participants of the project hope that the cooperation will contribute to the achievement of the objectives that were included in the project plan and the implementation of tasks will be fruitful for the relationship between students and teachers from different cultural backgrounds and will result in a friendship that does not end with the completion of the project. |
